Appartementresidenz am Kurpark

The recently redone bathroom is a plus, especially the walk-in shower. The apartment works well for one person and has a lovely balcony, but the bed is really uncomfortable. There’s also a strong curry smell throughout the building from the Nepalese restaurant downstairs.

Apartment 8, rented by Förster & Eickmeyer, was a great base for my three-week spa treatment. The spa park and town center are only a few minutes away on foot, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, bakeries and bars nearby. It felt like a home away from home. The apartment had a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub and washing machine, and a combined living and bedroom with two beds, dining area, sofa and balcony. The building also has a pool guests can use for free, a sauna for €1 per 20 minutes, a bistro and an underground parking space. The landlady was lovely, and booking was completely straightforward 😊

The location was excellent for exploring Bad Salzuflen, and the apartment was clean with everything we needed. But it was very dated, and I wouldn’t rent it to anyone else. The kitchen looked homemade and poorly put together, the bathroom fixtures were covered in limescale, and the shower only trickled. To clarify, my review and photos are of Apartment 31 on the 3rd floor, rented by Mr. Manfred Leckelt. What we actually got was a one-room apartment with no bedroom, just two fold-out beds in a closet, and the homemade kitchen. It had nothing to do with the photos published on Fewo direkt. As a tenant, you can’t tell which landlords or apartments are in this residence. The photos make you look like reputable landlords, but it seems a black sheep is using them to catch unsuspecting tenants. Sincerely, Hans-Jürgen Tittel

There was plenty of room in the apartment, and we especially enjoyed the huge balcony. It gave us a sheltered place to sit when the wind picked up.
