The rooms were clean, and the service was nice and friendly, though a little disorganized. In the morning, the nearby metal factory was noisy, louder than a street. Before we arrived, they asked about dietary preferences, which was thoughtful. We said mostly vegan would do, and I noticed soy milk at breakfast, but only on two of the four days, which was confusing. Breakfast otherwise seemed aimed mostly at older Germans: bread, butter, salami, cheese, and eggs. No beans. Plant-based guests might want to bring their own protein source.

A perfect base for hikes, with a delicious breakfast. The owner was very friendly and had plenty of hiking experience and trip tips. Highly recommended!

We spent a very pleasant four-night break at Pension Goldstück. The little room was cozy, cleaned every day, and had comfortable beds. Breakfast at the "Red House", about 200 meters away, was plentiful and delicious, with friendly, attentive staff. The value for money is excellent, and we highly recommend staying here. A small fridge would have been nice, though.

We used the bus from here to explore parts of the Malerweg, and the hosts were always around when we needed help. Our room was spotless and centrally located in Bad Schandau. We stayed four days with our two dogs and would happily book again.

The whole house was spotless, and our room and bathroom were both really nice. Breakfast was easily the best we've had for the price.
