The park and garden are wonderful, and the Elbe runs just below the castle, making for lovely evening walks. You can also head straight from the castle up Lilienstein. We stayed 10 days at the end of May, and each apartment has its own character. There’s an elevator too. It’s a remarkably relaxed, unpretentious place for such a high-end establishment. The castle mixes old and modern architecture, and the apartments are very well equipped, with all the dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans you need. Drinks in the fridge are reasonably priced; you can order a grill and reserve the sauna. I can’t imagine not being able to unwind here. If you want peace and quiet in nature and enjoy design and interiors, this place should make you happy. I did wonder whether to keep this gem to myself, but I hope the owners can preserve it, so I wanted to share our experience. We’ll definitely return, and we’ve already booked our next stay.

Our apartment was spacious, beautiful, and so well equipped that we didn't lack a thing. The sauna area was a highlight, stylish, well maintained, and great for relaxing after a busy day. Breakfast was delicious too, especially the fresh, crispy rolls. The hosts were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. This beautiful castle hotel has a magical feel, with history and modern comfort together. We wholeheartedly recommend it and are already looking forward to coming back.

The manor house is a great base for longer hikes nearby, and the helpful information in the entrance made it easy to find our way. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return. Even at short notice, the host found us a well-equipped, spacious room for two adults, a child, and two dogs. The service was excellent, and the host even took our tight budget into account and offered a discount for the dogs.

We had a wonderful stay in this stylishly renovated castle. The service was excellent, and plenty of Saxon Switzerland National Park highlights are just a stone's throw away. 10/10, highly recommended.

Our six-person apartment had a bathroom in every room and a very well-equipped kitchen. There’s also private parking, a communal garden, and a sauna we’d like to try after a long walk next time. The building is beautifully renovated, with tastefully furnished apartments, and the setting is quiet. The owner and staff were very friendly and focused on making guests happy. It’s a great base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. A week went by too quickly, and I’d love to return. Highly recommended!
