It’s only a few minutes’ walk to Bad Schandau market square from this lovely apartment. A handy base for local attractions and the walking and cycling trails.

I was a little worried about noise with the apartment so close to the road and train, but we were pleasantly surprised. It was very quiet, clean, well equipped, and had good Wi-Fi. The landlords were friendly and easy-going. We’d definitely come back. :)

The guest card was fantastic: we could use public transport, including the Kirnitzschtalbahn (Kirnitzsch Valley Railway) and the ferry. Service on site was very friendly and competent. This spacious apartment in an old villa has everything you could need and makes a great starting point for hikes. Thank you very much.

We felt very comfortable and had a wonderful stay. The apartment was quiet but still central, and perfect for our hiking weekend, with comprehensive amenities that left nothing to be desired.
