Villa Monsei

Clean and nicely furnished, and a pleasant place to stay.

The guest information was excellent, with all the key details easy to find, and we could even arrange fresh bread rolls from the bakery each morning. Apartment 4 worked really well for all five of us, two adults, two teenagers and one child. It was cozy and tastefully furnished, and we all felt comfortable there. We loved having coffee on the balcony and watching the forest, the little stream through the village, and the Kirnitzschtalbahn (Kirnitzsch Valley Railway). Seeing the old trains running on May 1st was a real highlight. The village center was about a 10-minute walk away, which was fine for us since we mostly left the car parked. The children enjoyed the stay too, and we'd love to come back.

We really enjoyed the area around the Kirnitzsch Valley, and Villa Monsei is in a fantastic spot. The apartment was spacious, modern, attractive, tidy and clean, with a balcony too. Our one complaint was the beds, which were terrible. For the price, we expected more. Apart from that, it was a lovely stay.

We stayed four nights in apartment 2 for a short break in Bad Schandau. It was clean, tastefully decorated and just right for four people, and we felt very comfortable. The well-equipped kitchen had a dishwasher, and the large, lovely shower felt great after hiking. The bakery was about a 15-minute walk away. Thanks to the Kluge family for the friendly service!
