Pension Ramona

After I posted a review, I got bombarded with messages demanding that I remove it. They called it outrageous and even made threats. My stay at Pension Ramona was extremely disappointing. When I called to ask about the booking confirmation and check-in, the hostess was very unfriendly. On arrival, she spoke to me through the window and refused to let me in because I'd asked for a double room with a TV that supported Netflix. She said my expectations were "too high." I accepted that there was no Netflix and still wanted to check in, but she just left me standing there with a rude "No." I've never experienced behavior so unprofessional and disrespectful. Absolutely not recommended.

The hostess was friendly and attentive, and we were pleasantly surprised by the guesthouse. It was in a quiet location, and our room was spacious, cozy, and tastefully furnished. Both the bathroom and the living and sleeping area were clean and tidy. I'd happily recommend the place to friends and acquaintances.

The hearty breakfast in a cozy atmosphere was a great finishing touch, and we'd gladly come back. Our room was beautiful and very clean, with its own balcony that was perfect for relaxing. The guesthouse itself was lovely and clean, and the hosts were attentive and friendly. It's quiet but conveniently located, with good walks nearby, for example to the thermal baths or in the forest. It's also a mecca for motorcyclists, and the host rides a high-end motorcycle himself.

We stayed for a wonderful weekend at the Neubert family's guesthouse, six of us spanning four generations. There were three rooms, each with its own charming style, all spotless and equipped with a sofa, refrigerator, kettle, balcony, and comfortable seating. The bedside lamps with wireless phone charging were our personal highlight. There was also a book, complimentary bottled water, tea, and coffee, so it was easy to relax. The quiet setting and comfortable high beds made for a good night's sleep. Breakfast had something for everyone, with rolls and savory or sweet toppings, a hot egg, muesli, yogurt, fruit, and orange juice. We could have asked for special things, but we didn't lack anything. Communication was excellent before booking, during the stay, and after departure. Huge thanks to the Neubert family. We highly recommend the guesthouse and hope there'll be rooms available next time we're in the area.
