Haus Ingrid

The kitchenette was especially useful to me. Guests can prepare their own food in the small kitchen, and there’s also a shared TV room. Haus Ingrid is spotlessly clean, with charmingly furnished rooms, and it’s close to the town center, so everything is easy to reach on foot. The host family are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, really focused on their guests, which feels rare these days. Breakfast is lavish and varied, and guests can pack a picnic lunch for excursions into the picturesque surroundings. It’s a wonderful, sustainable idea. All in all, it’s the best place to stay in Bad Steben. Many thanks to the Spörl family for their hospitality and care. Stay healthy, and I hope to see you again soon.

The rooms are large, nicely furnished, and very clean, and the hostess is very friendly. It’s a relaxed place in a quiet location, with a generous breakfast and unbeatable value for money. It also seems ideal for families. One small downside is the Wi-Fi, which would be useful since the internet reception isn’t great. I think that’ll be fixed soon.

There’s a lovely garden and lots of nature around, and it’s not far from the thermal baths and spa park. The landlady was very nice and breakfast was very good. The stairs up to the first floor are narrow and steep, though.

There’s a pizzeria right next door, and parking is good. Haus Ingrid is nicely furnished and just a short walk from the thermal baths. I’d highly recommend it.
