Room 4 is our favorite. It's spacious, with a little sitting area that has an armchair and TV. The garden view is lovely, and the place is really quiet. The great spa area is an easy walk away. Get the saunaland option, it's amazing!

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, so we'd happily return. We only booked a single night just before Christmas and were the only guests there, but breakfast was still quite something. They'd laid out a huge buffet just for the two of us, with so much choice and care put into it. Simply superb! 😊

My wife was in Bad Steben for rehab, so I stayed at Hotel Katharina and came away much more pleasantly surprised than I expected. The place and room were clean, it was quiet, and the location was good. The warm welcome also made a strong impression on me, so I wanted to leave a positive review. I'll definitely come back.

The rooms were clean, though the furniture has that good old 80s look, and the hotel has two floors with stairs only. Parking is available, provided you don't arrive too late. Breakfast was prepared with care and was perfectly adequate, with something for everyone. The firm pillows and mattresses may suit some people better than others. We also liked the reasonably priced drinks refrigerator on the ground floor. Everything was fine for us.
