Apartement am Waldrand

We've visited Bad Wildbad as holiday guests around twenty times over the past twenty years. After our previous hosts retired, we tried the apartment on the edge of the forest for the first time, from March 8th to 21st. We had two relaxing, pleasant weeks and felt at home from day one. It's a proper three-room apartment, not one of those cramped holiday rentals. There's a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom with natural light, and a separate toilet. It felt like a lovingly furnished home of our own. The location is quiet on a residential street with no through traffic, yet the town center is an easy walk away. And “at the edge of the forest” is literal: the sloping property borders the woods at its upper edge. The married landlords live in the same house and are exceptionally kind. It was a welcome change from a rental managed by an agency, and we had many relaxed, friendly chats with them. A wholehearted five-star recommendation. We've already rebooked for next spring before leaving, though, so those two weeks are spoken for. We'll be back!
