Hotel Sonne by Mastiff

The host was horribly rude and completely irresponsible. Nobody was there when we arrived for check-in at 4 pm. Once we finally got into a room, he said we had to move, but the key for the replacement room wasn't even at the hotel. We were rushing out and had no time to repack our luggage, and he threatened to throw our things out. If zero stars were possible, that's what I'd give. Definitely a no-go. In reply to the host: We went out around 8 pm, and there was still nobody at reception then. He warned me that if I didn't take my luggage out, he would. The front door was open to anyone coming in off the street, with no security at all. We never asked for an upgrade. He had overbooked, and the so-called upgrade was only bigger, with even fewer things than a standard room. I raised my voice because the phone connection was really bad. Some rooms also don't have a Wi-Fi signal. This was clearly the host's mistake, but I never heard him say sorry or apologize, and nobody offered to help with our luggage. If that's the kind of respect you show customers, we're definitely not on the same level.
