The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the bathroom was kept up well. There was no fridge, so I had to get a little inventive about keeping food, but I managed. I spent 10 nights here in December, through New Year's. The owner was kind and polite, and housekeeping was both reliable and friendly. It's handy for getting around, with a grocery store, bakery, butcher, and train station all within a 10-minute walk. I'd happily stay here again if I'm in the area.

The owners are attentive and quick to respond. For an economy stay, this is one of the best options, with comfortable amenities and good care.

I can't give this accommodation any stars. I booked directly through the guesthouse website but never got a confirmation. I make several business bookings some weeks, so the next day I couldn't recall which guesthouse in Bad Windsheim I'd booked. With no message in my inbox, spam, or other folders, I figured the booking might not have gone through. Later, €165 was charged to my card. When I asked about it, they said I had made a booking. They brushed aside my point that I couldn't have known without a confirmation, and ignored my attempts to settle it amicably. I also asked them to check whether their software had trouble with particular email addresses, but got no response. My email works fine on all four of my devices. I still haven't received an invoice for the accommodation I never used. The amount is too small for me to take legal action. Simply pathetic...

The rooms are dated, but we were satisfied. There was a kettle in the room, coffee and tea were available, and the Wi-Fi worked well.
