Flair Hotel Zum Storchen

The location makes it easy to walk to a grocery store, the park, historic buildings, and more food and shopping than you could get through in a couple of days in Bad Windsheim. The Stork has very spacious rooms, heated floors, and bright windows with blackout curtains. WiFi is great, and the German breakfast buffet is solid. I'd also recommend having dinner there, even if you're not staying at the hotel. The staff are friendly. About half spoke fluent English while I was there, and everyone was patient with my basic German greetings and conversations.

We stayed two nights in the guesthaus, where the rooms were very clean and comfortable. It's on a quiet street, with lots of little shops in walking distance. We accidentally left something behind, and the staff kept it for us and brought it out when we came back for dinner a few days later, without us even asking. The restaurant staff were also super helpful and patient with guests who don't speak German. Meals were relaxed, which we really appreciated compared with eating in the US. The ingredients were fresh and excellent quality. You won't be disappointed. I'll recommend this place and make it my first choice next time.

We'd told the front desk we'd arrive at seven, but after getting lost on the way from France, we didn't show up until almost ten. The staff member was extremely nice and waited for us. The hotel was clean and lovely, with all the basic necessities. Wonderful staff and rooms, plus amazing food. I'd recommend it over anywhere else in Bad Windsheim.

I've stayed at the main hotel and was happy with the accommodations. The Holiday House "Christina" is very nice too. Its modern bathrooms feel like a fancy resort, and the living area was a pleasant place to sit and watch TV. I barely felt like turning on the TV in my room. The garden view was lovely, and with almost no traffic around, it's incredibly quiet. The rooms are very big and stay warm all night. We had a gathering one evening and enjoyed sitting around the large table playing games. I'll definitely return to this hotel.
