There’s lots of room throughout, which made the hotel work really well for wheelchair users. Our double bed adjusted electrically, and the bathroom was spot on. The light switch takes a little getting used to, and the LED lamp needed some fiddling, but don’t let that put you off. We’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast had a great spread, including cold cuts, cheese, vegan choices, coffee, cappuccino, tea, water, orange juice, eggs and scrambled eggs, homemade jams, chocolate, honey, cornflakes, yogurt, croissants, bread, rolls and butter. The room was clean, with a double bed, hairdryer and kettle, and there was no gas outside the window. We’d booked for two, but there was just one duvet cover and one set of towels in the bathroom. Staff said they’d simply been forgotten.

The service was so warm and friendly, from the reception desk to the waitresses. A beautiful hotel too. 👍🏻😊
