Getting around was easy, with buses nearby and everything within walking distance. The room was good and the beds comfortable, though the pillows weren’t the best. We could hear sounds from other rooms, so I’m unsure how noisy it gets when the hotel is full. Breakfast was decent but the choice was limited. We got fresh towels every day even though we didn’t need them, so they should add do not disturb signs.

The staff were nice, and the hotel was great. Breakfast was delicious and presented very nicely too.

Our host gave us a warm welcome at reception. We booked a loft bedroom at the top of the building, so be ready for a climb. The stairwell is nicely spaced and has a regency style, but there’s no lift. The room was spacious, cozy, and bright, with modern furnishings. The walls and floor seemed well insulated, since I wasn’t disturbed by the neighboring rooms. The double bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had modern, well-working facilities and a good shower. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, including mini sweet croissants and buns, and there was a real barista making an excellent cappuccino. I missed having a kettle in the room for tea. My husband was also disappointed that we couldn’t eat at the hotel the evening we arrived.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The building has a quaint, atmospheric feel, while still having all the modern facilities you might need. I had an amazing stay and would definitely come back.
