Business Apart Stuttgart

The apartment was spacious and had what we needed, and the manager was patient and cooperative when we were delayed. But despite the “business apartment,” “luxury,” and “Stuttgart” labels, this is in a dreary, remote industrial area, in a working-class building near the outer edge of the so-called Stuttgart metropolitan region. That setting might suit seasonal workers or temporary staff, but not tourists or business travelers wanting somewhere relaxed. The place feels cramped in the middle of the building, with very little light or window space. The furnishings look heavily 90s, and some were worn and stained. The terrace, beside a rolling shutter, felt more like an industrial smoking corner than a deluxe terrace. The advertised outdoor area and furniture just don’t work. The bathroom is unattractive and feels more like a staff shower room. This is my review of the ground-floor Deluxe Apartment in Gäufelden.

Charging 70 euros for a room like this is outrageous. The whole building shares one bathroom, and the shower head is so clogged with limescale that no water comes out. There’s no TV in the room either. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

We found the kitchen spotless and fully equipped, and there was free parking right outside. The apartment was lovely and modern, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. Check-in was easy and straightforward. We’d happily come back.

We picked Businessapart Stuttgart while visiting relatives nearby. The apartment was beautifully furnished and very peaceful. We’d gladly stay there again.
