Hotel Römerhof

My room had clearly been refurbished recently, with quality furniture and a practical, pleasant layout. Everything was sparkling clean. Breakfast was good quality, with fresh produce, and the breakfast room felt nice, with its lovely tablecloth-covered tables. A lovely hotel, and hospitality done right.

The staff were all friendly, and breakfast was very nice. I especially liked the scrambled eggs, cooked properly instead of the bland, soggy mess you get at UK hotels. There's no bar, but the pasta place next door serves drinks late, and its owner is very friendly. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of town, with bus stops a minute or two away and the spa and Faberge Museum across the street. My room was bright, clean, and practical. The bathroom seemed fairly recently renovated, and the shower was a good size with hot water and strong pressure. There was no A/c, but a fan was provided and that was OK. The pillows felt a bit odd and not full depth, so they weren't comfortable for me as a side sleeper. I'd definitely stay again.

The rooms were big and very clean, and breakfast was nice. Great location near Caracala Therme spa.

We were very happy with our stay and thought it was great value for money. The location is the best in Baden-Baden, the rooms are newly renovated, and staff are friendly. Breakfast was nice, and dogs are welcome.
