The location is really good, and getting to the city center by bus takes about 20 minutes with a day ticket. Train noise was barely bothersome, and after a while there weren't many trains. The room was spacious and good, with a big smart TV, but it wasn't connected to the internet. There was a microwave but no fridge, and the bathroom was nice though it had no hair dryer. It felt like a good hotel that was at the low end of its class. I found a cheap Airbnb afterward that was a bit more comfortable. Still, I'd suggest this for a few days if you bring your own hair dryer :)

The location was very, very bad. It was so dirty and noisy, with no hygiene at all. I could smell cigarettes from the next room, and hear snoring and everything else. I couldn't see the hotel, where I slept on the train station rails. If you don't want to sleep, you can book here. 🤮😡😡

Don’t stay here, it sucks. Getting into the place means using the dirty side entrance of Coffee Fellows, where kids in Baden-Baden hang around smoking. When we arrived there was nobody at the hotel reception or coffee shop, and after waiting we met a man in a Coffee Fellows shirt who explained all the complications. He said there was no late check-in or early check-out, and bragged about the WiFi. We eventually got into our room, but it was freezing because housekeeping had left the window open. They'd pushed a toilet paper roll through the bathroom window to prop it open. The heaters were off, and I’m pretty sure there was dried blood on the carpet. The WiFi he bragged about didn’t work. In the morning, we had to find an ATM because the card machine wasn't working anymore. Also, if you're over 175cm, you can't stand straight in the shower because the ceiling slopes. It might not sound so bad listed out, but take my word for it, this was a shady place.

I got a room after a lot of back and forth, but it was smelly, dirty, dusty, poorly lit, and had flies on the bed. The door wouldn't close properly. I booked for three days and arrived to be told they had no booking for me, even though I had a receipt. The owner couldn't be reached: one phone number didn't work, nobody answered another, and the website was down. The person at the counter showed that my booking hadn't reached them and was very helpful. I wouldn't be surprised if they barely change the sheets and towels. Never again!
