There are two trails that run right through the property, which is great if you're into the outdoors and biking. I found the hotel warm and welcoming, with a home-like feel despite its small size. There's also a meteor station about 50meter from the hotel. It's a magical place, and you should come experience it at least once. You'll love it.

Our room looked out onto the forest, and it was quiet and well equipped. The hotel is close to the station, but we didn't hear the trains. It feels more like staying in the forest than in a city, while still being an excellent base for visiting Munich. The reception and staff were extremely friendly and the service was really great. The food was exceptional and reasonably priced, and I'd recommend it. Breakfast was nice too. We'd definitely choose it first on a future visit.

We stopped for lunch after a long day of walking, and it was a real treat. It was our first time in Germany, and we didn't speak any German, but our kind hostess spoke wonderfully to us and helped us out. Everyone seemed to have a lovely manner.
