I’m not sure why the bad reviews. It’s a nice place, clean, with good facilities and friendly reception. The location’s not bad either, just a few minutes from public transport.

We couldn’t sleep because it was so cold. The heating never worked during our stay, and we ended up in scarves and sweaters. The landlord didn’t fix it, so we asked for a price reduction. His response was, “That wouldn’t make it any warmer.” We’ll be asking for our money back. The rooms were filthy and completely run-down, and the furnishings were poor. There weren’t enough kitchen utensils for six people, even though the apartment is advertised for six. The bunk beds jolted with every movement. Absolutely outrageous, stay away from this accommodation.

⛔️Smoking Room ⛔️ I really wouldn’t recommend staying at this hostel. The room smelled of stale cigarettes, and about half the furniture was sticky. There was no shelf in the shower and no light. Hotels in Hamburg were all booked at the time, but if I’d known how disgusting this place was, I’d have saved myself the trip. 🤮🤮🤮
