We stopped in for a quick refill while hiking and were surprised by how hospitable the kind lady serving us was. Her Black Forest cake was amazing, and the ambiance and seating were lovely. 10/10, would recommend!

I don’t know what prices are like in the black forest. The pension is in a cafeteria/bakery, with very nice staff, and the lady speaks English. Breakfast was good, and there’s free WiFi.

The home-baked Black Forest cake was delicious, and the view out over the valley and black forests was beautiful.

I stayed here in February after my original accommodation booking turned out to be basically a scam. The family who run the hotel and bakery were extremely welcoming and friendly, and very kindly helped me out. I’m looking forward to returning as soon as I can.

We had a friendly, welcoming reception when we arrived after hiking through the black forest. The room was big, comfortable, and quiet, with access to a balcony. Breakfast was included and wonderful. We stayed one night and would recommend it.
