The peaceful setting, spotless apartment, lovely views, pool and play area made our stay feel just right while my daughter was having scrambler therapy. Kathrin also shared useful local tips and connected us with other families who were here for treatment. We hope to return for a proper family holiday one day.

Kathrin was cheerful, quick to respond and really helpful with what we needed. Our apartment at the top of the hill was clean and quiet, with a magnificent view. I’d highly recommend it.

The Black Forest is close by, with lots of beautiful nature hikes, and there’s plenty to do around the area. Our family really enjoyed staying at the Goldener Hahn. The hosts were friendly, communicative and made a real effort to help us have a nice stay. The apartment had all the necessary amenities, was very clean and still felt cosy. We’d gladly recommend the Goldener Hahn and stay again if we’re back in the area.

We found the quiet Black Forest setting so calming and peaceful, and we’d love to return. There’s a bakery nearby, several restaurants and a supermarket about a 10 minute walk away. We were here because our daughter needed treatment at the local Medicentre, which was within walking distance. The apartment was spotless, well equipped and had amazing views. Kathrin was a friendly, supportive and helpful host, and the pool was an added bonus. Thank you, Kathrin.🌺

The apartment was spacious, private and furnished in a typical German style, with a fully equipped kitchen. It’s about 10 minutes from the train/bus station, which connects to all the interesting places in the Black Forest. Perfect accommodation.
