The accommodation was five-star, with lots of attention to detail, and the first visit was good enough that we're going back. One part was a real disappointment, though: dinner didn't match the high quality of breakfast and lunch. I wondered if there was a different chef on the evening shift. The rest of the experience was excellent.

We had a very enjoyable holiday in a beautiful area. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was lovely, and the staff were friendly, professional, and couldn't have been more helpful. Dinner was outstanding, with beautifully cooked food. A few small things could be better. The €4.50 charge for a small carafe of water felt very expensive, and a free tap water option with meals would be good. Toiletries were limited to basic shower gel. For a spa, I expected something a little more luxurious, including shampoo and conditioner. The naturist areas could also be marked more clearly, perhaps with a separate shower.

I've been to Heselbacher Hof for relaxation and wonderful food for three years now, and I'll go again when I'm in Germany next year. Hiking paths head in every direction, and after a day out I can return for a gourmet meal. The spa is so good you might never leave the building, and the new outdoor pool lets you swim and talk to the cows in the meadows at the same time. The staff are always there to help make it a lovely stay. Our flight from Dubrovnik was delayed and we didn't arrive until 11 PM. Mr. Schneider kindly waited to let us in, and we were so grateful after a long day. It's a must!

A nice hotel with plenty of services, including saunas, indoor and outdoor pools, and free bike loans.
