Our hotel recommended this restaurant in 'Oberdorf', and we really enjoyed dinner there. The service was warm and friendly, and both of our fish dishes were delicious. The Zanderfilet in bacon was unusual but packed with flavor. We can recommend the place.

We had dinner with our four kids, all under six, and it was perfect. The kind staff knew how to make families comfortable and even had special treats for the children. It was the best traditional food we had during our week in the Black Forest. Highly recommend the meal, and hopefully next time we'll stay at the hotel too.

The family owners were wonderful and very helpful, and the hotel welcomes dogs. Breakfast had a nice selection, dinner was good value, and the rooms were perfectly comfortable. Parking can be a challenge, though there are plenty of extra spaces on the surrounding streets. We stayed two nights. It's a quiet spot off the main road while still being rather central.
