The restaurant is good, though closed on Wednesday. The place was very clean and neat, and the staff were friendly.

A good hotel, though a little too expensive.

The restaurant has Italian food, with small tables outside instead of a beer garden. It's not very cozy there since two streets cross nearby, though it was pleasantly quiet at night. The church clock chimes every 15 minutes as well as on the hour, which takes some getting used to and brought back memories of the past. I only stayed briefly, so this is just a quick impression. The hotel is centrally located, the small room was nice and perfectly adequate for a night, and breakfast was decent. The price was reasonable, and the center is a five-minute walk away.

The owner and staff were very friendly and did their best to make us feel welcome. It was a very nice weekend, even though we were the only guests. The hotel is cozy and clean, and this was our first visit to the Black Forest. The pizzeria food was delicious, with generous portions, and the bed and breakfast booking was fine. We couldn't make full use of the spa area because the steam room and sauna were out of order, so we only used the whirlpool. In the evenings we usually went out to the hotel, as there wasn't much going on.
