The staff were super helpful and helped us get the most out of our vacation. My partner and I loved hiking on the nearby trails, and we saw lots of families with children feeding the animals and playing in the garden. The apartments are wonderful, right in the middle of the Alps. They're easy to reach from Austria, with Bregenz and Dornbirn about 30 minutes away, and from Switzerland, with St. Gallen about 45 minutes away. We'll definitely book again. Thanks! :)

Haus Alte Schmiede is right by the ski lift, which is great for both kids and adults. The apartments were clean, and we got a very warm welcome. We had a wonderful stay in Balderschwang.

The garden has loads for kids to play with, including a climbing frame with swings, an in-ground trampoline, wooden horses, a treehouse with a slide, a ping-pong table, and various ride-on toys. That makes it a great place for families. We stayed recently in apartment 23. It was quite spacious, and the bedroom and children's sleeping alcove were cozy. The bathroom and toilet were dated, though, and there was mold on the shower's silicone sealant. We also found quite a bit of dirt in the balcony corners, including paper bags and broken glass.

The apartment's layout was wonderful and its location great. We were completely satisfied with the price-performance ratio, and the landlords were always very friendly to deal with.

We spent 14 relaxing, enjoyable days with you. The grandchildren loved the garden trampoline. My only small criticism is that a more comfortable chair on the balcony would have been nice.
