4.5 stars. We stayed in different rooms because we booked them separately and had to go elsewhere in between. The rooms were spacious and clean, with soft, comfortable beds, large windows and lovely views. Bathrooms were roomy and clean, there were plenty of towels and big mirrors, and the elevator serves every floor. Rooms also have a TV, hairdryer, hot water and air conditioning. Check-in and check-out using a code were very convenient, and the standard German breakfast was good value. Family-friendly rooms are available too. On the downside, the hotel is outside the city center, and buses or local transport were very difficult to get during the holiday season. There was no kettle or tea and coffee maker, no microwave or iron in the rooms, and no reception after 18:00.

The hotel is walkable from the city center, though it's around 40 minutes on foot to the old town hall. Service and the room were very nice. Breakfast was good enough, but for 13 euros I would've liked a bit more variety.

Check-in was easy, and the room was comfortable. The hotel feels very clean and modern. Breakfast was a little basic, but convenient, and the dining room was nice.

The rooms aren't especially big, but for one person or a couple they're perfectly adequate, in my opinion. I liked the good price, nice rooms, quiet atmosphere, and powerful AC, which was especially welcome when it was 36+ outside. Breakfast was fine for the price, nothing special but good enough. The location is probably the main drawback, though bus stops are close enough that getting downtown isn't hard. I'd recommend staying here.

Parking is a bit limited, so arriving late may mean you need some luck to get a space. Apart from that, we had a very pleasant stay at the B&B Hotel Bamberg. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast tasty. Convenient location and great value for money. I'd definitely recommend it!
