The location worked really well for our three nights, with sights and plenty of restaurants about 10 minutes away. The room Wi-Fi was so poor that I had to use the pleasant little kitchen to get online. It has good basics for light cooking, free tea and coffee, plus other bottled drinks at low prices. The caretaker was easy to reach. Mostly it was very quiet, apart from the occasional church bells.

The only real drawback is parking, since you'll need to use a garage a few hundred metres away. Otherwise, this is a quiet, nicely restored little inn in lovely Bamberg, with clean, well-kept rooms at a very reasonable price. The antique furnishings are lovely, so if that's your style, you'd enjoy staying here. The hostess was very friendly and quick to respond. Thank you!

We spent a week here with friends and could keep everything we needed for breakfast in the refrigerator. The kitchen was great, and the landlord was really nice. The rooms have a romantic feel, and the place is just right for Bamberg. It's quiet, and there is parking available to rent, though we hardly needed a car. We got around easily on foot and by bike.

A small, cozy lounge and lovely rooms made for a wonderful atmosphere. The house has been fully restored and sits on a little alley in the heart of Bamberg. Sleeping in hell is an unusual experience, but a special one. I highly recommend it and would love to come back!
