Volkspark Hotel

The room was very warm on a 32 °C day, especially since we were on the top floor. There was no AC, and the little fan struggled to make it comfortable. The mattresses also had dips in them, so they weren't very comfortable. The room and hotel were very clean, though, and the staff were kind.

We had a great stay with the family. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and our room was clean. We also enjoyed the delicious food in the ground-floor restaurant. The service was excellent, and I'd highly recommend the hotel.

The rooms were simple, modern, spacious, and super clean, and the bed was really comfortable. I'm picky about beds, so that stood out. Volkspark was an ideal overnight stop on our drive from Austria to the Netherlands. I believe the building is an old historic one, with a lovely Asian restaurant and newly built or remodeled rooms upstairs. I have bad knees, but managed the stairs slowly without trouble. It isn't wheelchair accessible, unfortunately. I'd definitely recommend it to people passing through the area.

It's been an hour with me waiting outside the hotel in the middle of the night. There's no reception and nobody has responded. I need to sleep and get up early, but all they sent was an email the day before, with no passwords or access details. I'm going to look for another hotel. I need to find somewhere to sleep for at least four hours. The worst nightmare of my life.
