We paid over €2,200 for 14 nights in September for an apartment advertised as a "4-star superior holiday apartment with a designer kitchen, renovated in 2023." What we arrived to was filthy, clearly not cleaned in a long time, and furnished with worn-out furniture. We only stayed because our friends had booked the neighboring apartment, which was cleaner, though only adequately furnished at best. We used ours just to sleep and shower, spending the rest of our time next door. NEVER AGAIN! The kitchen counter was rusty and disgusting. The coffee machine, dishes, cutlery, and pots were dirty, and there were bread crumbs and crusts in the drawers and on the chairs. Insects and spiders were crawling around, alive and dead, and there was dirt along all the baseboards. The concrete "design" floor hadn’t been cleaned. The windows hadn’t been cleaned this year, probably not last year either: cobwebs, dust, dirty panes, and insects everywhere. There was nowhere to put our belongings except an old, rickety cabinet under the TV. The bathroom had wooden baseboards, water ran under them after every shower, and silverfish came out at night when the light was on. The shower head was dirty and limescaled. The bedroom had no wardrobe, just "great" solid wood shelves, and more dead insects on the floor. On the neglected terrace, the dirty furniture was just wooden planks on metal legs, apparently unpainted for years. The thin covers, probably left by a previous tenant, were stained. There were no cleaning supplies, just a broom and dustpan instead of a vacuum. There were also no smoke detectors, even though a guest had already complained about that in 2023 and they still haven’t been installed. We’ve stayed in holiday rentals and houses for 40 years, at home and abroad, with all kinds of equipment and quality. This was by far the worst.

We were delighted with the wide choice of regional goods in the farm shop. Before shopping, we had some delicious cake and were pleased with the excellent food selection. There’s seating both indoors and outside.
