We spent the week enjoying the beer garden, dinners, bar, and generous breakfast buffet. The rooms were very clean and efficient, though a bit spartan by American standards. WiFi was a little slow for streaming, but fine for working from the room without video calls. The countryside is beautiful, the food was delicious, Krombacher beer was amazing, and the service and rooms made my unexpected trip to rural Germany a joy. Any motorcycle enthusiast should visit Dodenau, especially this hotel.

The owners and staff are awesome, and I was happy with my stay. Rooms were okay, food was very good, and there’s a nice bar and biergarten. The price was good too. I couldn’t give it five stars because the WiFi was too slow for work, but otherwise I strongly recommend the place.
