The rooms feel a little old-fashioned, though they’re comfortable. There’s a parking area and an on-site restaurant for dinner, and breakfast includes nice local touches like mustard. From this hotel in central Bautzen, you can get around the historic, beautiful city on foot in about 20 minutes. A very nice hotel with lots of rooms.

Dinner is reasonably priced and good, and breakfast is generous. The rooms are OK, and the hotel is close to the city center. There’s parking, though it may be full. It delivers what you’d expect from a four-star hotel.

I enjoyed my stay a lot. The hotel is in the center of town, within walking distance of Bautzen Station. My room was quiet, clean, and warm, with everything I needed, including a coffee station and fridge. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were really nice, though they didn’t seem to have much useful information for tourists. I stayed from 1.Dec to 3. Dec 2023 for my first Advent weekend in Bautzen, and the hotel is directly opposite the Wenzelsmarkt. The train station is around a 15-20 minute walk away. My room was clean and everything worked well, with plenty of heat for the freezing winter. The food was nice at the restaurant, which stays open until 22, and the bar is open until 23. Breakfast starts early, at 6, which I loved.

Clean and comfortable, with a good breakfast and friendly staff. The location is handy too, close to Bautzen’s old town.
