Our room was clean. But guests in the room next door had an unpleasant bathroom smell because of a sewage problem. When they raised it with staff, they were told it had been going on for some time and couldn't be fixed. If that's the case, assigning the room to guests seems quite irresponsible.

The rooms are clean and reasonably priced, and the free parking is included. They're quite basic and outdated, but still good enough. The location is ideal for walking around the old town.

We stayed one night with my wife and our two kids. The staff were very friendly and did more than we expected. We also had a great meal at the restaurant, with tasty food and a kid-friendly welcome. Highly recommended.

Our local friend especially recommended the cherry beer, and it was smooth and tasty. The home-brewed beer is worth a try too, and the salad was really fresh and delicious. It felt like a warm, local bar where you'd see Volks gathering over beers. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend travellers come and experience it.

We had a great stay, with clean rooms, friendly staff and a good restaurant. There are 24 rooms in total, and breakfast comes with the room. Arriving late is possible too. For check-in, head to the restaurant rather than the pension.
