The bed was comfortable, and the town square stayed quiet at night apart from the lovely church bells chiming the hour. Our room looked out over the square and was charming, clean, and well appointed. We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen. The stairs up to the rooms are steep and curved, so this may not suit anyone with mobility needs.

The studio apartment is right in the historic Bautzen city centre, with a bathroom and shower, kitchenette, and superb view of a historic city square. It takes up an entire floor of a centuries-old city townhouse, known for having the narrowest facade in town. There’s no elevator, only a spiral staircase. Everything is organized and equipped so well that a traveller lacks for nothing, and the WiFi is strong. This accommodation is excellent throughout.

The room looked out over the main market square, which made our weekend trip to the Wenceslas Market even better. Check-in was easy, and the Centrum parking garage is about a six-minute walk away. Thanks to the owners for answering our questions before we arrived. We'd happily come back.
