We stayed in the London room, which was spacious and had such awesome decor. The hotel was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was very good, with cold cuts, fresh bread, pastries, and boiled eggs.

We got a really good rate for a 4-star hotel in Bautzen by booking through the hotel website, cheaper than the hotel aggregators. We stayed in the Urgestein room and loved its decoration and the shower. The staff were attentive and nice. There’s an inner yard too, though we didn’t get to enjoy it. I bet it’s really cool in the warmer months.

My main reason for staying was to get a good rest, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. I was put in the building on Wallstraße, 12 during the August heat, with no air conditioning, and the cars going back and forth outside made it quite hard to sleep. The lovely photos don’t show that, so bear it in mind if they assign you to Wallstraße, 12. The premises themselves are in quite good condition, and I believe this is generally a good hotel with 4 stars.
