Greencity Boardinghouse

It felt like home! I stayed two nights, the 9th and 10th of October, after a friend recommended it. The female shared bathrooms were clean and had hot water. Michael, the owner, is really nice and does his best to keep the place clean. I also liked the room’s design, colors, and furniture, which felt beautiful and relaxing. Edeka, a supermarket that closes at 22:00, is about a 5 minute walk away, handy for picking up what you need. The Bus 14 stop is about a 10-minute walk, and there’s a bakery and cafe on that same corner. I noticed shared ground-floor areas for games and other things. I didn’t use them, but they looked cool. The internet wasn’t very stable while I was there, which made calls over the internet difficult. The shared refrigerator shelves didn’t have fixed numbers, so I couldn’t find number 4 and my sandwich kept getting moved. The windows had no insect screens, and quite a few bugs came in when I opened one, though that’s expected with such a green area. We had an amazing stay. The rooms and beds were good, and the shared cooking facilities were nice.

It’s a nice place, though a bit far from the city center. Bus 14 makes getting around manageable. It was very hot, though, and there was no fan or air conditioning.

For the price, it’s really good. The only issue is that not every room has a bath.
