Pension Wiesenau

It feels like home, only better. Nothing to improve, it’s perfect.

We came as a family with two adults and two small children. The owners were incredibly kind and accommodating, and the rooms were excellent, spotless, and in great condition. Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had at any place we’ve stayed. We’d love to come back.

It felt very homely, and we liked our stay a lot. The owners are very nice and helpful, and speak Czech and German. Parking was private and hassle-free. It’s a great base for hiking, and despite staying only four days, our room was cleaned halfway through. We couldn’t hear anything from the other rooms. Breakfast was laid out at the table, with a plate, eggs, juice, coffee, fresh pastries, homemade jam, and often homemade dessert. Our room had a kitchenette, and the bathroom was a good size. The week was hot, unfortunately, so the attic rooms got quite warm. That’s just the time of year, I guess.

The highlight of our ten-night cycling tour was this stay. The location is quiet and excellent, and the couple running the guesthouse are very friendly. Breakfast was so plentiful, with freshly cut fruit salad and homemade cake. Thank you, we’ll gladly recommend you!
