It feels like a pretty old hotel, and the unheated floor gets freezing in winter.

Maybe the breakfast was alright, but I didn’t leave with a good feeling about the place. Reception wasn’t friendly, and there’s very old, worn furniture on some floors. There’s no tea kettle in the room, which seems odd for a 4-star hotel. I only learned by reading all the papers in the room that slippers or a bathrobe could be requested. Nobody mentioned it at reception, even when I asked about the sauna. They could have asked on arrival whether we wanted robes, or at least told us we could request them.

8/10
We were there on a business trip, with no time to enjoy the local attractions, so I can’t really comment on the location. The hotel was clean and warm, breakfast was great, and there was plenty of parking both in the hall beneath the hotel and outside. The corridors may surprise you, though, it’s easy to get lost in them. Worth recommending.

We were lucky to be staying with a De Lorean club and its 50 DMC12s. The new sauna and steambath on the 6th floor were beautiful, and breakfast was great.

The rooms were very clean, the air conditioning worked excellently, and the receptionists were very helpful. There’s free parking at the back, as well as paid underground parking. The hotel was very good in every respect, and I’ll choose it again on my next visit to Germany.
