We paid 120€ for two people with breakfast, and it was worth it. The rooms are small but look nice and modern, and the queen size bed and mattress were great. Parking was 8€ a day, with unlimited coming and going. I didn't hear the trains, though the street cars were a bit noisy.

The rooms were clean and quiet when we arrived, and check-in took hardly any time. Breakfast was good too. We stayed one night during a holiday, and the hotel worked well for us, with convenient motorway access, good parking options, and a fair price.

At IBIS budget you can clean your own room or ask for a cleaning in advance. That's a nice option, but if guests choose not to have the room cleaned every day, shouldn't they get some kind of discount? There was nothing. You help the environment, while the hotel saves money, and none of that saving comes back to you.

The hotel is close to the train station and only a few minutes from the town center. My room was comfortable and quiet, and the staff were so helpful and kind. It was an excellent experience all around, and I hope to come back soon!

Finding a bed bug in my room made me extremely uncomfortable during my stay at the Ibis Budget Hotel in Bayreuth. I consider bed bugs a serious problem and a possible health concern, and I didn't expect to encounter them in a hotel. I hope management acts quickly so future guests don't have to deal with the same situation.
