The decor nearly makes the price worthwhile, and the service was great. It’s a quaint hotel a little outside Bayreuth, though the rooms feel dated and the cleaning could be more thorough. The price seemed a bit high.

The employees were friendly, though their clothing didn’t seem appropriate. The water had far too much chlorine, and both the service and breakfast were bad. The rooms are old and vintage. The hotel manager, an older woman, was very unfriendly and shabby.

The view over Bayreuth was superb, and the food was excellent. The place is a little dated, but clean and perfectly okay. We were welcomed very warmly, and the owner still looks after things in person. We’d happily return.

That view over Bayreuth is magnificent, and the staff were friendly every time, happy to take care of whatever we wanted. The food was delicious, with fair prices for an organic restaurant. I especially recommend the soups, and my truffle steak was as tender as butter. We’d love to return and are already looking forward to our next stay.

The hotel’s old glory seems to have faded, and I was very disappointed. The food was completely overpriced and not to my taste at all. The price and quality just don’t match, and I won’t be returning.
