Ferienwohnung Haus Oberlarchhof

I stayed there with friends for a long weekend at the end of September, and the apartment was in extremely poor shape. Cupboard doors stuck, handles were loose, bed frames sagged, and some jammed doors and windows could not be opened at all. When it rained, water leaked into the dining room. Based on earlier reviews, I can confirm the poor condition of the farm and holiday apartment. It is unacceptable to rent it out to holidaymakers like this. I definitely don't recommend it.

The landlord was rude and completely unreliable. He never kept his word, lied to our faces, and tried to scam us. The property itself is run-down and covered in trash, and the holiday apartment has clearly seen better days. It's a shame this place is still tolerated in Bayrischzell. Never again!

The house looked badly neglected even as we drove into the yard, and going inside was a shock. The "holiday apartment," furnishings included, is in such disrepair that renting it to anyone is outrageous. The pictures speak for themselves. I can only warn people against booking a holiday there.

We have fond memories of our holidays with the Kerscher family and their lovely hospitality at the Oberlarchhof. We stayed there three times, in 1996 and 2002, with another visit in between whose date I no longer remember. Every stay was lovely, and we’d be happy to have another wonderful holiday there someday. The floorboards creaked, the toilet was shared in the hallway, and the shower and dining room were downstairs. A lot has improved since our visits about 15 years ago. I should add that the family name was Kerschl, and they were very nice hosts.
