Haus Sonnenblick

A really homey, pleasant place, with a very good breakfast cooked at home. I highly recommend it.

A lovely guesthouse in a beautiful village. The room was clean and breakfast was good.

The house has a charming, rustic feel, and there’s a big veranda looking out at the mountains. I spent five restful days at Haus Sonnenblick on my own, staying in a single apartment. Breakfast was part of the price, tasty, and filling. After cold days, I warmed up in the common room by the tiled stove. Two dogs and a cat live in the house, though I rarely saw them because they were usually outside or with their owner. The location was handy: the ski lift is a ten-minute walk, the train station about 15 minutes, and a good pizzeria just three minutes away. Everything was clean and people were friendly. Towels, three sets, plus soap and shampoo were included, and there’s a boot dryer and space to hang things. Five stars, great value for money, and highly recommended!

The room was very nice and the view was great. I enjoyed everything else, but hadn’t booked a farm holiday. Chickens and geese fill the garden, and the rooster regularly disrupted my sleep by crowing nonstop, even at night. If you like animals, you could have a lovely holiday here.
