The breakfast in the main building was good, and the bathroom was very clean, though there's a little foxing by its window. The satellite TV works, but the WiFi signal is weak. The old building is nice, but the “Pension” area really needs refurbishing. Some furniture is broken. The doors don't fit their frames, are cut too short, and take force to open or close. You can see the floor underneath and hear every word. The outlets are behind the bed and hardly usable. The mattress felt suitable for a child or someone up to 50 kg.

After a long day of cycling, it was great to have a cold beer and such a brilliant host. They even opened the kitchen to feed us on the chef's night off. The rooms are beautiful.

I was there for Christmas dinner. The location is beautiful and the service was nice, but it took too long for the food to arrive. The food itself was acceptable.

Last time our accommodation was rather spartan; this time we were able to stay in the main building, which has real charm. The room was tidy, and the bathroom was large and very well equipped. Breakfast was standard. Sadly, they couldn't make the scrambled eggs we were looking forward to because there was no cook on site. That was a real shame, it would have earned at least one more star.
