Hotel zur Krone GmbH

The hotel restaurant is nice, and my room was clean, though there was nothing special about it. For a small town, it felt quite small for €60 to €100 a night, but I can’t say whether the other rooms are bigger. I was there on a business trip and had booked two nights. My plans changed at the last minute, so when I arrived I asked to cancel the second night and apologized for the situation. The owner was really unpleasant and argued that last-minute cancellations happen all the time and guests don’t tell the hotel. I accept that I was at fault, and offered to pay half the second night even though I wouldn’t be staying. She accepted, and there were still two rooms available on booking, so I don’t think there was a reason to be angry. Still, nothing justifies being aggressive and unpleasant to customers. I’ll report this experience to my company, and my colleagues will stay at another hotel on future trips. Thanks, madam!
