Hotel Tobbaccon

The room was clean, and breakfast was nice. The staff were friendly and gave good service. But I had an early flight and there was no hot water in the morning, so I ended up taking a cold shower.

The staff were qualified, though their attitude needed work. They came close to being rude. Dinner choices were very limited, and with no alternatives within a kilometer, you’re stuck with what’s there. Breakfast was basic and questionable in quality, easily the worst part of my stay. The rooms are clean and functional, with a typical feel. The bed is fine if you like a soft mattress. For the price, not having a proper closet, safe, or mini fridge was a drawback. The desk was so small that only one laptop fit, making it impossible to get any real work done. It’s okay for up to 3-4 days, but I wouldn’t choose it again unless I had to.

On my second stay, the place had changed for the worse. I’d found it pleasant three years ago, but this time the staff weren’t very friendly. The breakfast coffee machine was broken, and nobody seemed to care. It’s in an industrial area, and I was surprised they didn’t have irons or ironing facilities.

We’re two people staying for 10 days, but this place feels meant for one person and no more than 2-3 days. The room is small, with no closet and barely enough hangers or space for clothes. There’s no mini fridge, bedside stand, kettle, in-room coffee, or ironing board. The desk is tiny, only fits one device, and when I asked for another small desk, they said no. They say “No” a lot, and I don’t think they understand customer service. The staff are borderline rude. Breakfast is mediocre and could get old quickly, with no toaster or microwave. The place is far from town, with no stores or food nearby. See Spyros’s review from a year ago, it was pretty much the same and nothing had improved. If you have options, go somewhere else.
