This is a well-kept, cozy apartment in a multi-family building, on the top floor and set up for two. There’s a living room with kitchen, a bedroom, bathroom, and hallway. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a small dishwasher, and bed linens, towels, and tea towels are supplied. There’s also a washing machine in the bathroom, and a parking space is included. The balcony faces south towards the Steinernes Meer mountain range and the Obersalzberg mountain. Its windows lock shut, so you can still enjoy the space in bad weather. Berchtesgaden center is less than ten minutes away on foot, or about five if you walk briskly; there are two bakeries there too. The train station is just over 1 km away on foot, and the nearest bus stop on the road to Salzburg is around a ten-minute walk. I’d choose this accommodation again for a relaxing stay in the Berchtesgaden region.

We'd be glad to stay again. The place was spotless, and the landlady was really friendly. It’s a bit dated, though it has everything you need, and the mattresses are very worn.

It’s easy to feel at home in this quiet, very clean apartment, which has everything you might need. The location is great too, with shops, restaurants, and the town center only a few minutes away. The landlady was incredibly kind and helpful.

The house itself was wonderful, with comfortable surroundings, a lovely location, and a view from the window that was all worth praising. Ilse was such a hospitable hostess: she met us and saw us off in her own car, and left lovely gifts both when we arrived and when we departed. 💝 Thank you, Ilse!

There was a huge construction site right outside, and getting to the underground garage where we were allowed to park meant a walk. With the work going on, that walk was very difficult and hard on our shoes and feet. The apartment itself was great, though. Other places could learn a thing or two from it.
