Parking is a bit of a walk away, but the place is really cozy and in a great location. The only downside is having to share the two bathrooms, one of which has a shower. There are just three rooms upstairs, so we never had trouble showering, though a couple of times we did have to wait for the bathroom.

Breakfast was included and wonderful, and the old town, with its castle and lovely cafes, is only a five-minute walk away. The host was so friendly and welcomed us into her home, where the first floor is used as the hotel.

Königssee and Hintersee are both easy to get to by car, within 15 minutes, and the city center is close as well. The owner was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and a good breakfast was included. Highly recommended.
