The beds were comfortable, but much too short. At 1.67m (5'6"), my feet hung over the end, and the mattress kept sliding down. The kitchenette also seemed suited only to short or slim people. The kitchen had very little equipment, and with two fairly steep flights of stairs to reach the apartment, it's best to keep luggage to a minimum. The bathroom in the apartment had a sink and toilet but no shower. To use one, I had to go through the landlady's private rooms, including her kitchen, down two steep flights, through the hallway, kitchen, and another hallway. That bathroom wasn't very clean either, and the shower head wouldn't stay on its pole. The worst moment was when the landlady tried to come in while I was showering. Her small dog was tame apart from a few growls and doesn't bite, but it barks almost constantly, bares its teeth, and can be frightening, especially when you have to pass the landlady's bedroom at night. The bathroom in our apartment was so filthy you couldn't miss it. The place clearly needs many small repairs, and the decor is dated and pretty kitschy. It was easy to see why the apartment is rarely vacuumed. The landlady seems very nice at first, but she kept dropping subtle hints about extra services. There was lots of chatter whenever we ran into her, too. The other accommodation was much cleaner and more spacious, with a proper bathroom for guests. I can't say anything about its kitchen equipment, beds, or general condition. If you like old-fashioned kitsch and especially frilly bedspreads, this place may suit you.

The whole house had a musty smell, and those stairs are so steep they feel almost dangerous. I agree with Josefina. Still giving it 3 stars, since the stay came with an adventure 😂

A lovely, clean holiday apartment, and the landlady is really kind.

Always a pleasure, just wonderful. The bed was comfortable, the atmosphere friendly and family-like, and the landlady super nice.
