Having real air-conditioning made a big difference in August. After nights in other hotels where there was only ventilation, it was good to sleep in a cool room. The rooms were spotless, the shower looked brand new, and breakfast had a nice range of choices. The owners were lovely and happy to help with whatever we needed. It’s well placed for getting to Heide or Serengeti theme parks, too. A great, inexpensive hotel, highly recommended.

Breakfast had plenty of options for everyone. I’m sure the friendly couple who run the hotel would also be able to help with dietary needs. They’re accommodating, and I’d certainly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area.

The rooms were a little noisy, which was the only downside. Otherwise, it’s a lovely little hotel in pleasant surroundings, with a really good breakfast and nice staff.

Just a short walk from the centre of Bergen, the location was quiet and relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was a really nice continental spread.
