Pension Günding

The place was stuffy, hot, filthy and falling apart. The building seems to have been turned from offices or shops into a guesthouse, and the windows don't open because they're storefronts. In my room, there was only a skylight, since the supposed window was actually a door shut off behind a bed. The whole place was a nightmare of dirt, stench and mud. It feels as if nobody cleans, washes or sweeps. The owner has photos from when the guesthouse first opened. The shower seemed ancient, and the toilets were just as bad. I'd rather sleep in a car than stay there, and no low price would make me spend the night. I wouldn't go within 100 km of it.

The room was in the basement, with three glass showers, and the whole house stank. The walls were so thin I've never seen anything like it. There wasn't a proper window, only a skylight. The supposed window was actually a door blocked by a bed. Filthy doesn't even cover it. Never again!

Everything was dirty and sticky, and there was nowhere to put a towel or toiletries. The communal showers were in the basement, and the door wouldn't even close properly. I had to share the women's toilet with the caretaker. They charge €30 per person per night for a double room. I wanted to give zero stars. In nine years of assembly work, this was the worst place I've come across. The owner isn't even a German citizen.

I stayed there with my company a month ago, and everything was fine. The location suited us well. I'm a tradesman, and it worked perfectly for us. Everything was great, and I can highly recommend it.
