25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin

The hotel is nice in general and in a good location, but we've had a few really negative experiences. Our check-in was at 3, and we arrived at 3.30 p.m. The room still wasn't ready, though it was done another 10 minutes later. We booked a jungle room with a jungle view. The room itself is lovely and has a library, but the view is only of a roof. We were also in the last room at the end of the row, next to the cleaning staff's room, so we could hear everything whenever they used it. No peaceful mornings. When we asked to switch rooms, the receptionist said no other jungle room was available for one more night. He didn't say sorry or offer any solution, but did offer us a downgraded room for the same price. We're really disappointed and wouldn't book again.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was great, so we had a nice stay, but I wouldn't return at this price. Our large room was a decent size, though it was so crowded with furniture that it felt tiny. The room and hallways were too dark for me, which made the place feel old. There were amazing views over the Zoo. Breakfast was nice, and Neni Restaurant worked for an easy dinner in, though it wasn't amazing. Monkey bar had a great vibe but got very busy. The staff were friendly, but often chatting among themselves instead of serving guests, so they weren't always efficient. 25hour hotels only service rooms every 2-3 days. They say it's for the environment, but to me it felt like a cost-cutting measure, since the hotels need more staff.

The design and the view were my favorite parts. It's a funky hotel with an almost bougie feel, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and professional. Breakfast was excellent too. I'd definitely recommend it.

This Berlin 25 hours is really well located near the zoo and tier park. You can even look over the zoo from the breakfast restaurant on the top floor. The hotels are a little quirky, and this is the second one I've enjoyed in Germany. I also stayed at the day tour one in Duesseldorf.
